Con Edison small business rebates in Queens
Queens businesses get one extra check: if the property is in Southeast Queens, it may sit in Con Edison's Neighborhood Program area, which adds bonus incentives — including the only Small Business lighting incentives offered in 2026.
Clean Ridge Energy handles the parts that slow owners down: the walkthrough, the scope, the program paperwork and the installation schedule. You see the estimated incentive and your share of the cost in writing before any work starts.
Small Business Rebates in Queens: what to know
Queens has some of the city's busiest small-business corridors — Main Street in Flushing, Roosevelt Avenue, Steinway Street — plus industrial Long Island City and a wide range of garden apartments and mid-rise multifamily buildings.
Con Edison supplies electricity to most of Queens, but the Rockaway Peninsula is served by PSEG Long Island and is outside Con Edison's programs. Gas in much of Queens comes from National Grid. Parts of Southeast Queens are in Con Edison's Neighborhood Program area.

What Con Edison's program rules say
Eligibility is for Con Edison commercial customers in service classes 2, 9 or 51 with an average peak demand under 300 kW over a rolling 12 months. Larger accounts go through Con Edison's Commercial & Industrial program.
Incentives are for replacing existing, working equipment with qualifying efficient equipment — not for repairs or for equipment that has already failed.
In 2026, Small Business lighting incentives are offered only through the Neighborhood Program in the Jamaica / Southeast Queens area.

Small Business Rebates in Queens: FAQ
Can Queens businesses get small business rebates through Con Edison?
Con Edison supplies electricity to most of Queens, but the Rockaway Peninsula is served by PSEG Long Island and is outside Con Edison's programs. Gas in much of Queens comes from National Grid. Parts of Southeast Queens are in Con Edison's Neighborhood Program area. If your electric bill comes from Con Edison, you can apply.
Is my Queens property eligible for Con Edison's programs?
If your electricity comes from Con Edison, generally yes. Properties on the Rockaway Peninsula are served by PSEG Long Island and use that utility's programs instead.
How do I know if I'm in the Southeast Queens bonus area?
Con Edison defines the Neighborhood Program area by the electric network serving the property, not by ZIP code. Our calculator flags ZIPs that may be inside it, and the program confirms eligibility against your account.
Who qualifies for Con Edison's small business rebates?
Con Edison commercial electric customers in service classes 2, 9 or 51 whose average peak demand is under 300 kW over the last 12 months. Most storefronts, restaurants, offices and nonprofits fall in that range. Larger accounts use Con Edison's Commercial & Industrial program instead.
Does the program still pay for LED lighting?
For 2026, Small Business lighting incentives are only available through the Neighborhood Program in the Jamaica / Southeast Queens area. Outside that area, the strongest opportunities are usually HVAC controls, refrigeration and envelope upgrades.
