Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy explains what information Atlantic Ridge Group LLC, doing business as Clean Ridge Energy (“Clean Ridge,” “we,” “us”), collects through cleanridgeenergy.com — including our incentive eligibility checker — and how we use it.
Clean Ridge Energy is a d/b/a of Atlantic Ridge Group LLC, an independent company. We are not Con Edison and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Con Edison.
The short version
- We use what you send us to check whether your property may qualify for Con Edison's energy-efficiency programs, to contact you about it, and — if you choose to go ahead — to prepare and manage your program application and project.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time: email info@cleanridgeenergy.com.
What we collect
When you use the eligibility checker or contact us, we collect what you enter:
- Contact details: first and last name, email address, phone number, business name (optional), your role (owner, manager, tenant or other) and how you prefer to be contacted.
- Property details: property address and ZIP code (and the borough or area we derive from it), property or building type, number of units (multifamily), and approximate square footage.
- Upgrade interests: the HVAC, refrigeration, lighting or other upgrades you select.
- Utility information: whether you are the Con Edison account holder, and — if you choose to enter them — your approximate monthly electric bill and annual electricity use.
- Your consent: the consent statement you agreed to and the time you submitted it.
- Basic visit information: campaign tags in the link you used to reach us (UTM source, medium and campaign), and the standard technical information any website receives (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested), which our hosting provider keeps in short-lived server logs. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.
If you book a call through our scheduling page, the booking service collects the name, email and any notes you enter there and shares them with us so we can hold the appointment.
How we use it
We use eligibility-checker information only for evaluating and pursuing Con Edison energy-efficiency program opportunities for your property, specifically to:
- give you a preliminary read on which programs may fit (the checker's result is not a quote or a guarantee of any incentive);
- review your inquiry internally and contact you about it by your preferred method — email, phone call or text;
- schedule a walkthrough or energy audit and prepare a written proposal;
- if you decide to proceed, prepare and submit your program application, coordinate installation and required inspections, and handle incentive paperwork;
- keep records the programs require of participating contractors, and protect our site from spam and abuse.
We use automated tools to help us respond quickly: when you submit the checker, a software assistant drafts an internal summary of your inquiry and a first reply email for our team. A person at Clean Ridge reviews those drafts before replies go out; the tools do not make eligibility decisions, and program eligibility is decided by Con Edison under its program rules.
We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we never sell it.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run our site and workflow — website hosting, form processing and workflow automation, email, spreadsheet/record keeping, appointment scheduling, and an AI writing service that drafts our internal summaries and reply emails. They process information on our behalf to provide those services.
- Con Edison and its program administrators/implementers — only when you choose to move forward with a program application, and only what the program requires (for example your contact details, account and property information, and project details).
- Licensed subcontractors — if you agree to a project, we share the property address, contact details and scope of work with the licensed installer(s) performing it, so they can schedule and complete the work.
- When the law requires it — to comply with a legal obligation or a valid legal request, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business (the buyer would be bound by this policy).
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Calls and text messages
If you check the consent box, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry and energy-efficiency programs at the number you provided, including by phone call and text message, which may be sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing. You can also opt out of email by using the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or by emailing info@cleanridgeenergy.com.
How long we keep it
If you don't move forward, we keep your inquiry for up to 24 months so we can follow up on it, then delete or anonymize it — sooner if you ask. If you do a project with us, we keep project and application records for as long as Con Edison's programs and the law require of participating contractors (generally several years after completion).
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our records and workflow accounts, and keys that keep our automation endpoints private, consistent with New York's data security law (the SHIELD Act, N.Y. Gen. Bus. Law § 899-bb). No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your private information occurs, we will notify you and the authorities as New York law requires (N.Y. Gen. Bus. Law § 899-aa).
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email info@cleanridgeenergy.com with your request and the email or phone number you used. We may need to confirm your identity, and we may keep information we are legally required to retain (for example, records of a program application already submitted). We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Children
Our site is for property owners, managers and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
